Overview

AppFollow Monitoring agents watch your apps for important changes and notify you when action or attention is needed. They automatically monitor app activity, ratings, reviews, rankings, and other key events so you don't have to check them manually.

You can set up agents to send different types of notifications for specific apps and channels, tailored to your workflow. In this article, you'll learn about the available agents and the report types they can provide, along with tips for making the most of them. For step-by-step setup instructions, see our guide on Agents: Create and Edit.

Use Monitoring Agents to:

  • Receive key updates directly in your preferred channel (Email, Slack, Telegram, and other channels).
  • Monitor all important metrics and events in one place.
  • Define your own KPIs to focus only on the most relevant information.

You can add monitoring agents for a regular app, but not for a Competitor App.

Featured Agents

Featured agents highlight some of the most commonly used monitoring agents in AppFollow.

  • Feedback Summary: Compiles an AI-powered breakdown of your feedback with key metrics, themes, and insights for stakeholders.
  • Review Anomaly: Spots unusual patterns in your review stream using AI and flags them before they become trends.
  • AI Summary: Synthesizes review themes by semantic tag and country into a recurring AI digest your team can act on.

If you are setting up an agent using "Add to Slack", please ensure you add our bot to the channel where the agent is configured. This is necessary for the alert to function correctly.
