Multiple app selection in Reviews feed

The Reviews feed supports multiple app selection, allowing you to view reviews from more than one app at the same time. You can select:

  • Multiple apps from the same store
  • Apps across different platforms (for example, App Store and Google Play)
  • All apps within a workspace

This makes it easier to analyze feedback at a broader level and get a market-wide AI Summary for your product.

Custom App Groups

You can also create custom app groups to customize further how you view reviews across your products.

In addition to selecting multiple apps or viewing all apps in your workspace, you can group apps from different sources into a single unified Reviews feed. For example, you can combine:

  • App Store app
  • Google Play app
  • Trustpilot page
  • Other supported sources

This allows you to analyze feedback for a product across all platforms in one place.

To make setup easier, we recommend creating groups based on app names (for example, grouping the same app across different stores).

Manual app groups are available when your workspace contains 3 or more apps.

Settings

The Settings toggles allow you to enable additional features on the Reviews feed page. In this section, you can adjust:

Click the ON/OFF toggle to see more information or change the settings. The lock means the feature is not enabled for your account, and by clicking on it, you may send a request to upgrade your account.

Review Details

The Review card contains useful information to provide you with more context before you write a response. Along with info about the Review itself, you can learn more details about the user who posted it. See the star rating of the review, the reviewer’s username and profile picture, and whether the review received any likes or dislikes from other app store users.

The top-left corner of the Review highlights additional information to help you keep track of what needs attention:

  1. Featured Reviewsreviews that are featured in the app store and visible to all users visiting your app’s page in the store.
  2. Updated Reviews – reviews that have been updated since they were initially posted.
  3. Deleted Reviews – reviews that were deleted after publication by either the user or the app store.
  4. Review Status – learn more in our article on the Review Status feature.
  5. Beta Reviews – learn more in our article on Google Play Beta Reviews.

The following data is displayed for each review on the Review card:

  • Country (for App Store, Mac App Store, Microsoft Console, Amazon, and Google Play*)
    or
    Device language (Google Play)
  • Review language

The following data is available for App Store reviews without additional data connections, while Google Play requires having the Google Play: Reply to Reviews Data Connection configured to get the tech details from the developer console:

  • App version
  • Device (Only for Google Play)
  • App version code (Only for Google Play reviews posted after May 24, 2021)
  • OS
  • (Only for Google Play reviews posted after May 24, 2021)

Please note that Google Play may not provide all of this data due to users' privacy settings. Whenever additional data is available, we’ll display it on the Review card.

How tags were applied

In the Reviews feed, you can see how each tag was added to a review—whether it was applied manually by a team member or automatically via an Automation rule.

When you hover over a tag on the review card, AppFollow displays:

  • The tag source (manual or automation)
  • The name of the Automation rule that applied the tag (if applicable)

This visibility helps you understand why a review was tagged, verify automation behavior, and quickly identify which rules are actively affecting your Reviews feed.

To learn how Automation rules and Auto-tags work, see our Automation Hub article.

Quick Filters

With Quick filters, you can easily filter by Period, Rating, Country (or Language for Android apps), Reply availability, and searching by text and Tag.

All filters are applied only after you've clicked the Apply button. If you need additional filters, you can simply add them with the click of a button.

Preset manager

With Presets, you can save your favorite combination of filters for quick and instant access. Whether your goal is to track all featured reviews for the last month, marked with the Bug tag, or to cover all the updated reviews, Presets has got you covered:

Our studies have shown that using only five presets can save you up to three hours per month, freeing up valuable time to focus on the most important business tasks. In addition, our increased page loading speed will further enhance your productivity. Creating new presets available only for Owner, Admin, Senior support manager, and Support manager roles.

Presets are not shared between workspaces.

Reviews to report

The "Reviews to report" preset is enabled by default in the Reviews feed to help teams quickly identify reviews that may violate app store policies. This preset automatically displays offensive and spam reviews that could be reported to the app store for removal.

Using this preset helps teams react faster to inappropriate content and keep the Reviews feed focused on actionable customer feedback.

To learn more about reporting reviews, see our article on Report a Concern.

Featured reviews

The "Featured Reviews" preset is a carefully curated list of featured reviews that every customer will receive alongside the "All reviews" preset.

By showcasing these reviews as the first thing potential customers see when visiting your app's page, you have the opportunity to make a powerful first impression and demonstrate your unwavering commitment to customer feedback and experience.

Responding promptly and effectively to these reviews is critical to building and sustaining your app's online reputation.

It will also lead to a significant increase in your app's conversion rate to downloads. By showing potential customers that you take their feedback seriously and are actively working to improve their experience, you will generate more downloads and experience exponential revenue growth.

Updated reviews

An updated reply means a new reply is posted under the review card in your feed. You can see all the updates with the "Show history" link.

It is also a new reply from the store standpoint, as updating a reply uses the same request as creating a new one.

If the review was updated since the last reply, you will notice it by this yellow outline:
