Overview

The Executive Report in AppFollow provides a high-level summary of app performance and user feedback across multiple apps, enabling quick insights for decision-making.

This report allows you to:

  • Track app performance across multiple regions and timeframes.
  • Identify key user concerns and successes to inform product improvements.
  • Share insights quickly with stakeholders.

The Exec Report is available on select plans. Contact your account manager or the Customer Support team to learn more about access.

Key Features

  • App Selection: Choose multiple apps to compare performance side by side.
  • Date and Region Filters: Customize the reporting period and filter data by country for more targeted analysis.
  • Performance Metrics:
    • Total Average Rating: Monitor overall app ratings and recent changes.
    • New rating: Shows the average rating of new ratings for the period (available for App Store apps without additional connections, but for Google Play, a Ratings connection is required).
    • New Reviews: Track the number of new reviews received and any shifts in review count.
    • New Reviews Rating: Understand the average rating of new reviews over the selected period.
  • Tags and Semantic Analysis: Identify top tags and semantic themes that surface in user feedback, helping pinpoint common user sentiments and recurring topics.
  • AI Insights: Receive AI-generated summaries of key user feedback trends, highlighting areas of satisfaction and improvement opportunities.
    • These insights are presented as concise highlights within the report. If you're looking for more detailed, text-based summaries delivered automatically, you can also use the Feedback Summary alert, which provides structured written summaries of review trends.
  • Add to Slack (Coming Soon): Share the report directly to Slack for quick team updates. This feature is under review — you can upvote it here.
  • Table options:
    • You may use "Copy table" to copy the content and easily paste it into Excel or Google Sheets. (A complete export is coming soon!)
    • Use "Manage table" to add or remove columns according to your needs.
    • Use "Change order" to reorganize the columns as you prefer.

Accessing the Report

  1. Navigate to the Get Insights > Exec Report section in AppFollow.
  2. Select the apps you want to include in the report.
  3. Apply the desired date range and regional filters.
  4. Review performance metrics, top tags, and AI-generated insights.
