Unable To Add Team Member

If you're experiencing difficulties adding new team members to the AppFollow platform, here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:

  • Ensure that the number of users allowed for your account has not been exceeded. If you've reached your limit, you won't be able to add more team members. If you need to increase the number of users in your account, please book a call with our Sales Team.
  • Confirm that there is at least one app associated with your account. Without any apps in the account, adding team members is not possible.

  • Make sure you have the necessary permissions to manage team members. Only users with admin or owner roles can add new team members.

A New Team Member Doesn’t Receive Invitation Email:

In some cases AppFollow emails may be blacklisted in the client's email provider, or the email may be lost in the recipient's inbox. It's also advisable to check the spam folder.

If a new team member is still not receiving the invitation email, please try the following steps:

1. Access your account and navigate to the Team Members page.

2. Copy the invite link from the Team Members page.

3. Send the link to the user or the admin of the account to activate the account.

The invite link is valid until opened. Ensure not to access the link yourself to allow the recipient to activate the account.

"You can't invite the user" Error When Inviting a New Team Member

One email address can be associated with one AppFollow account only.

If you encounter the error "You can't invite the user" when inviting a new team member, it means the email is already associated with an active AppFollow account.

The existing account may have:

  • Active integrations and source connections
  • Other team members invited
  • A paid subscription

To resolve this, ask the user to:

  • Remove integrations and source connections
  • Remove other users
  • Downgrade their subscription

Alternatively, you can use a different email address for the invitation.
