To enhance account security, AppFollow supports Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). When enabled, 2FA adds an extra verification step to your login process, requiring confirmation via a one-time email link after entering your email and password.
How to Enable 2FA
You can enable 2FA only for your own account. Here’s how:
- Go to your Account Settings in AppFollow.
- Open the Security Settings tab.
- Under the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) section, check the box to "Receive a one-time login link via email upon logging in".
- Enter your password and click Save to confirm the changes.
If you log in via OAuth (e.g., Google), the 2FA option is not available.
How 2FA Login Works
Once enabled, follow this process to log in:
- Go to the login page and enter your email and password.
- Click Login with Email.
- The login form will disappear, and you'll see the message: “We sent a login link to your email.”
- Open your email and click the one-time login link to access your account.
- This link can be used only once and expires in 5 minutes.
What If the Link Expires?
If you try to use the same link again or wait too long, you'll be redirected to the login page. Simply re-enter your credentials to request a new link.
There is no "Resend link" option. You must log in again to get a new link.
You cannot enable 2FA for other users in your organization.
If you experience any issues with 2FA login or don’t receive the email, check your spam folder or contact our support team for assistance.
