Overview

The App Store Connect: Official API Reply to Reviews Connection allows you to receive and respond to reviews from the AppFollow interface or through connected help desk systemsSlack, or other tools.

In this article, you'll learn how to set up the connection and avoid any potential setup errors.

To set up this connection you must be an Owner in your App Store Connect account.

How to Set Up

  1. In AppFollow, click on the Integrations icon on the left-hand panel.
  2. Click on Source Connections.
  3. Select your iOS/macOS app from the dropdown menu above.
  4. Click on Link account underneath "App Store Connect - Official API". 


     
  5. Go to App Store Connect Users and Access -> Integrations -> App Store Connect API and click on the Team keys tab.


     
  6. Click "Generate API Key" or the "+" button and enter the name "AppFollow Reply to reviews"
  7. Select "Customer Support" access
  8. Copy the "Issuer ID" and the "Key ID" and paste them into the required fields in AppFollow
  9. Download your API Key and upload it, then click Next
  10. After finishing the setup on the last step, your Reply to reviews connection will be configured and working.

The API connection allows you to reply to reviews only. Reporting a concern or accessing ASO data is not supported – for that, you need to use the Invite User connection.
