When you manage several sources, it's hard to know where to look first. Checking each one in the dashboard takes time, and a problem in one title can go unnoticed while you look at another. Your AI assistant can check every source in your portfolio at once and tell you which ones need attention. In this article, you'll learn what this check includes, how to ask for it, and how to use it as a weekly routine.

Overview

When you ask about your portfolio, your assistant returns:

  • One line per source with its rating now vs. 30 days ago, review volume, the direction of sentiment, and its biggest complaint theme
  • A short answer at the top: which sources are moving the wrong way, what's driving each one, and what to do first

It's built for a quick Monday check, when nobody has time to open a dozen dashboards. This is a read-only request. Nothing in your account changes.

Reading the results

Column What it means
Rating The current rating, compared with 30 days ago
Reviews How many reviews came in during the period
Sentiment Whether reviews are getting more positive or more negative
Top complaint The theme users mention most in negative reviews

A rating can stay steady while sentiment drops, because the rating includes years of older reviews. When the two disagree, the sentiment is usually the earlier signal.

How to ask

Once AppFollow MCP is connected to your AI assistant, you can ask in plain language. For example:

Across all our live titles, which two need attention this week and why?

More things to ask

  • "Rating change over the last 30 days for every app in our portfolio, worst first."
  • "Which title has the widest gap between its store rating and the sentiment of this month's reviews?"
  • "Same table, split by store."
  • "Which title is taking the sharpest turn in review sentiment this month?"

F.A.Q.

Which sources are included?

Every source tracked in your workspaces, unless you name specific ones. Competitors are usually tracked in the same workspaces, so say "only our own sources" if you want to leave them out. See How to See Everything You're Tracking with AppFollow MCP to check what's in each workspace.

Why is sentiment missing for some sources?

Sentiment comes from AppFollow's review analysis, which is available on some plans. Without it, the assistant reads the review text directly to judge the direction.

Can I check a large portfolio?

Yes. The assistant checks each source in turn, so a large portfolio takes longer and uses more credits. Start with your most important workspace if you only need a quick read.
