When something breaks in your app, your reviews often show it before anything else. But bug reports are scattered across platforms, versions, and countries, and each user describes the problem in their own words. Your AI assistant can group these reports by symptom, count how many users hit each one, and turn the worst one into a ticket your team can work from. In this article, you'll learn what this request returns, how to ask for it, and how to use the ticket draft.
Overview
When you ask what's breaking, your assistant returns:
- Bug and crash reports grouped by symptom, ranked by how many users mention each one
- A breakdown for each group by app version, platform, and country, which shows whether the problem is tied to one build, one platform, or one region
- The reviews behind each group, so your QA team can try to reproduce the issue
- A ticket draft for the top group with the symptom, affected versions, number of users reporting it, and severity, ready to paste into your issue tracker
This is a read-only request. Nothing in your account changes, and nothing is filed anywhere.
How to ask
Once AppFollow MCP is connected to your AI assistant, you can ask in plain language. For example:
What's breaking right now, ranked by how many players hit it, and write a ticket for the worst one.More things to ask
- "Reviews mentioning 'crash' or 'freeze' in the last 7 days, grouped by app version."
- "Is the login bug from 6.1 still being reported in 6.2, or did the fix hold?"
- "Which country reports the most bugs relative to its review volume?"
- "Write a bug ticket from these 14 reviews."

F.A.Q.
Can I see which devices are affected?
For Google Play, reviews include the device model and Android version, so you can ask the assistant to break a bug down by device. The App Store doesn't share device details with reviews.
Why don't some Google Play reviews show a country?
Google Play only shares review countries when the right data connection is set up. See Google Play: Reviews Country Data Connection for how to set it up.
Can the assistant file the ticket for me?
AppFollow MCP doesn't connect to issue trackers on its own. If your issue tracker is also connected to your AI assistant, you can ask it to file the ticket there, and it will show you the ticket and wait for your approval first.
