Steam: Reply to Reviews Connection

With Steam: Reply to Reviews Connection, you can monitor and reply to your Steam reviews directly from AppFollow.

Overview

To manage and reply to Steam reviews in AppFollow, you need to connect your Steamworks account.

The connection requires:

• Inviting the AppFollow user to your Steamworks account
• Confirming the invitation
• Adding the AppFollow user to the Steamworks group and setting the permissions
• Completing the connection in AppFollow

Once the connection is complete, you can start managing your Steam reviews from AppFollow.

Set up the Steam: Reply to Reviews Connection

1. Start the connection in AppFollow

1. In AppFollow, go to Integrations → Source connections in the left-hand navigation menu.
2. From the app picker, select your Steam game.
3. Click Link account on the Steam game card.

2. Invite AppFollow user

1. Open Steamworks and go to Users & Permissions → Manage Users.
2. Click Invite user.
3. Enter the AppFollow Steamworks invitation email: steam-invite-a@appfollow.io.
4. Send the invitation.

Wait until AppFollow accepts the invitation and you receive the confirmation email. The invitation process can take up to 24 hours.

After the invitation is accepted, return to AppFollow → Source connections and click Edit on the Steam connection to continue setup.

3. Confirm the invited user

1. In Steamworks, go to Users & Permissions → Manage Users.
2. Open the Awaiting Confirmation section, find the email steam-invite-a@appfollow.io and click Confirm.

4. Add AppFollow to the group

1. In Steamworks, go to Users & Permissions → Manage Users and open the group that contains the apps you want to connect.
2. Click Add a user to this group.
3. Select steam-invite-a@appfollow.io and leave all permission checkboxes unchecked.
4. Click Add user.

After adding the user to the group, AppFollow will verify the connection. You will receive an email when the connection is ready. The verification process can take up to 24 hours.

Your Steam connection is now set up. You can start monitoring and replying to Steam reviews directly from AppFollow.
