Trustpilot API Integration

Overview

AppFollow’s Trustpilot API Integration provides a secure and scalable way to respond to Trustpilot reviews directly from AppFollow. By using the Trustpilot API, you can ensure a more compliant and reliable setup for managing review responses.

This integration is available for customers on paid Trustpilot plans with access to the Trustpilot API and AppFollow Team plan and higher subscribers.

How to get access

This integration is fully self-service. To set it up:

1. In AppFollow, go to Source Connections, select Trustpilot, and choose the Official API tab, then click Link account.
   
2. Create an integration in your Trustpilot console to get your API Key and API Secret (steps below).
3. Enter your API Key, API Secret, and a Responder user email, then click Connect.
   

Create an integration in Trustpilot

Follow these steps in your Trustpilot console:

1. Go to Integrations → Developers → APIs.

   

2. Click to create a new application, fill in the Name, and click "Create application".

   

3. Make sure the integration switch is turned ON.
4. Find AppFollow in Your applications, expand it, and copy the API key and API secret into the fields on the left. 
5. Enter the email of a Responder user from your Trustpilot Business account and click Connect. The responder is shown only inside the Trustpilot console; public replies appear under your company name.
