Overview

The Google Play: Connection to Enable Incremental Worldwide Ratings allows you to track your app rating (stars) dynamics for different countries and timeframes on the Rating Analysis page. When you set up this connection, you will get access to more precise statistics and data for:

    • Incremental daily ratings
    • Lifetime total ratings
    • Country and version breakdowns
    • Conversion rate

Invite AppFollow to your Google Play Console

To set up this connection, start by inviting AppFollow to your Google Play Console account. Here's how to do this:

  1. Open Google Play Console, navigate to "Users and permissions", and click "Invite new users":

  2. Type in android2022b@appfollow.io, set the permissions to "View app information and download bulk reports (read-only)", and click "Invite User".mceclip1.png

Please make sure to provide the exact sets of roles that are specified for the connection type you need. If a role is missing, we will be unable to finish the setup process on our end.

Role changes can also affect permissions and functionality. If you need to make any adjustments, please review the above roles carefully to ensure uninterrupted access. 

Once you've added an invitation to access your app's data connection, please do not remove it. Removing it could result in loss of access to important features. 

Finish the Setup in AppFollow 

  1. In AppFollow, click on the Integrations icon on the left-hand panel.
  2. Click on Source connections.
  3. Select the app from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on Link Account on the App Analytics & Report a Concern card, then click "Next":



  5. Enter your Developer ID. To find your Developer ID, open the Google Play Console →  Settings → Developer account → Account details. You'll see your Developer account ID:

  6. Click "Copy ID", and go back to AppFollow.
  7. Paste the ID into the connection setup window, and click "Next".
  8. Make sure you've invited AppFollow to your Google Play account and click "Next."
  9. On the final step, click "Add Integration."

All done! Please allow some time for the data to sync and enjoy your reports.
