Overview

The Feedback Summary Alert delivers a weekly or monthly digest of your app reviews, combining a quick, scannable overview with deeper trend analysis. It highlights what’s changing (and why), helping you quickly understand shifts in user sentiment and key themes in your feedback.

You can receive Feedback Summaries directly in Slack or via email, making it easy to keep your team aligned on what matters most.

If you’re using Slack, make sure the AppFollow Slack bot is installed in the specific Slack channel where the report will be delivered. If the bot is not installed in that channel, the report will not be sent.

How to Set Up Feedback Summary

  1. Go to Alerts & Reports.
  2. Select Feedback Summary.
  3. Choose the app you want to track.
  4. Pick your delivery method: Slack or Email.
  5. Choose translation settings (optional): Enable translation to receive summaries in your preferred language.
  6. Select categories (optional): Choose specific feedback categories to focus the summary on the most relevant topics (New issues, Positive trends, or Negative trends).
  7. Click Save to finish your setup.

You can customize your Feedback Summary by selecting specific categories and enabling translation. This helps tailor the report to your team’s focus areas and ensures insights are accessible in your preferred language.

Frequency & Delivery Timing

  • Weekly Summary: delivered every Monday morning
  • Monthly Summary: delivered on the 1st day of each month
