This feature is available in open BETA testing.

You can now upload your own help center articles, FAQs, or internal guides to help the AI generate smarter replies to your app reviews. This is especially helpful for handling more complex reviews—such as those about subscriptions, bugs, or app-specific features.

What You Can Do

  • Upload documents with answers to common user questions
  • Link these documents to a specific app and language
  • Rename, delete, or update them anytime

The AI will search through the selected documents to generate a more helpful and relevant reply.
At the moment, this works exclusively with automation replies.

Supported File Types and Limits

  • Formats: .txt, .pdf, .docx, .md, .html
  • Max size: up to 5MB per file
  • You can monitor each document’s processing status (e.g. Processing, Ready, or Failed)

How it works

  1. File scanning and indexing – Once you upload a file, AI scans its content and creates an index of the topics it covers.
  2. Review analysis – When generating a response to a review, AI compares the topics in the review with the indexed topics from your file.
  3. Answer retrieval – If a match is found, AppFollow pulls the relevant answer from your knowledge base (the uploaded file).
  4. Reply generation – The retrieved answer is then incorporated into the AI’s reply. Instead of quoting it word-for-word, AI adapts the answer to make the response natural and relevant to the review.
