The Zendesk App Integration automatically tags reviews.
AppFollow tags are displayed in the left-side info panel of the ticket in Zendesk:
AppFollow Auto-tags are also shown in Zendesk tickets. Learn more about auto-tags synchronization with ticket in Zendesk in the next section.
- AppFollow sends to Zendesk only generic tags containing the review details listed below. It is not possible to edit these tags from AppFollow or from Zendesk.
- If you have Auto-tags rules set in your AppFollow account, we will send auto-tags only when the review is sent to Zendesk for the first time. AppFollow can't update the existing ticket in Zendesk by adding new auto-tags triggered after the review update.
For example, if a review is updated and new auto-tags rule is triggered in AppFollow. As a result, new auto-tag is added and displayed for the review on the Reply to Reviews page. But in Zendesk, with the updates sent to the same ticket, we won't add additional new auto-tags.
- Tags assigned to review manually are not transferred to Zendesk.
