Microsoft Console Connection

Overview

The Microsoft Console Connection allows you to receive and respond to user feedback directly from AppFollow. Microsoft operates two distinct stores—the Microsoft Store for Windows and the Microsoft Store for Xbox—but both are accessible through a single technical API. This means that while the stores serve different platforms, the integration process remains the same.

In this article, you'll learn how to set up the connection to get reviews delivered straight to the AppFollow interface.

How to Invite a user to the Microsoft Partner Center

The invitation must be sent from the account owner who has access to the apps.

1. Open the Microsoft Partner Center

2. Click Add user → Invite outside users and enter the email address - microsoft@appfollow.io
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Click Customize permissions (you don't need to select a role here).
   
   
   
   
4. Сheck the boxes Analytics → Customer Feedback and Monetization → Contact Customer.
   
   
   
   
5. Click Invite.

Set up the Microsoft Console Connection

1. In AppFollow, open the Integrations section from the left-hand navigation panel.
2. Click on Source connections.
3. Select the app you want to connect from the dropdown menu at the top of the page.
4. Click on Link account on the Microsoft Store connection card.
   
5. Follow the steps on the screen to proceed. Please note: To connect your Microsoft Console with AppFollow, you will need your Tenant ID:
   
   
   
6. All set! Your connection is now active.
