Overview

The Smart Views feature allows you to create filter presets on the Reply to Reviews page. This tool helps you:

  • Better organize your support team's workflow. For example, for teams with multi-language support, you can set a Smart View for different languages to easily find reviews that need a reply.
  • Monitor how many reviews of certain types need a response (e.g. negative ones) and estimate the support team's workload.
  • Quickly check the most important reviews without manually selecting the required filters every time. For example, use the default "Featured" view to check featured reviews in one click.
The Smart Views feature is available on the Reply to Reviews page

To get access to the complete functionality and create new Smart Views, please contact our Support Team or your account manager directly.

Default Smart Views

The Smart Views panel is located on the left side of the reviews list on the Reply to Reviews page.

We provide three default views that cannot be edited or removed:

  • Updated without reply includes the following filters: Reviews with No Reply, Last 30 days, and Updated.
  • Featured without reply includes the following filters: Reviews with No Reply, All Time, and Featured Reviews.
  • Negative without reply includes the following filters: Reviews with No Reply, Last 30 days, and 1, 2 - star Review Rating.

Smart View Set Up

To create, edit, or remove a Smart View:

  1. Apply the required filters on the Reply to Reviews page.
For example: Let's create a view with reviews in Chinese. Select the filter "Review Language" - "Chinese".
  2. Click on "Create Smart View" from the filters bar or in the widget on the left.

In the popup, enter the title of the Smart View and configure the options for the Smart View Counter.

The available options are:

  • Indicate all reviews or reviews without a reply to be counted in the smart view.
  • Number of days to track.
You can track from 1 to 90 days.

Each newly created Smart View appears at the top of the list. There is a counter next to the Smart View title that shows the number of reviews that fall under the selected conditions.

To edit or delete a Smart View:

  • Hover over the Smart Views widget on the left and click on the gear icon.
  • Hover over the Smart View and click on the required action: Edit or Remove.
It is possible to edit the title and Smart View Counter settings (all reviews/reviews without reply and the number of days to track). To set different filters for the view, you need to create a new one.

To re-arrange the order of Smart Views:

  1. Hover over the Smart Views widget on the left and click on the gear icon.
  2. Drag and drop the views in the order you need.

Smart Views are applied to all apps in the Workspace.

Note that some filters can be applied for apps only from a certain store (e.g. Release version filter is available only in Google Play). Learn more about the available filters in our article on how to Filter and Sort Reviews.
